Following a four year absence, the England Squash & Racketball 'Club of the Year' competition returned to showcase and reward the most innovative, hardworking and proactive clubs.

England Squash & Racketball linked the awards with the recent Allam British Open at the O2 Arena, to help maximise the exposure successful clubs will receive ensuring that they receive recognition at a national level.

In March, Helen submitted in a strong application, with guidance from Head Squash Coach Gary Hinton . The Club was informed in April that they had been awarded the Regional Runner up for the South, closely piped to the title by Lee-on-Solent Squash Club.

Today we were presented with our certificate of achievement by the England Squash & Racketball Regional Manager Amanda Robinson.

Billy said "We are delighted to receive this award in recognition for the outstanding contribution towards Squash & Racketball. We have had some great feed back that we can take forward to improve the service that we offer to our members, in hope that we can go one better next year!!"
