Andy Sheridan has drawn up a code of conduct for junior tennis players and their parents and it has been endorsed by Alison and all of the coaching team.
Sadly we often see poor examples of sportsmanship and unwelcome behaviour from players (and parents) at tournaments and events at the club and around the county. Fortunately, this rarely involves any of our players or parents. The Code of conduct has been drawn up to help reinforce good practice, and we appreciate all parents sharing this with their children and encouraging them to "play fair".
We are proud of our coaching programme at the club and equally proud that all our players and parents set the best examples of sportsmanship and healthy behaviour wherever they are participating. Through adopting the code of conduct on the coaching programme at the club, this will also help to encourage fair play principles in competition.
