FITNESS - Equipment Update

Dear fitness member,

I would like to firstly send out my sincerest apologies for the recent faults experienced with equipment, and also provide an update on upcoming improvements for the fitness suite.

 As most will be aware we have had some terrible luck over the last few months with equipment faults and also delays with repairs. Whilst the resistance equipment has remained in good working order (excluding some minor re-upholstery work required), the cardiovascular range of kit has experienced a number of faults, resulting in equipment having to be placed out of action. On top of these issues, we have also experienced some lengthy delays on repairs caused by the service provider. Firstly, please accept my apologies, and as a result I can inform you that moving forward we will no longer be purchasing equipment from this provider, and instead we will opt for a company with which we have experienced a more efficient service, meaning should we have a similar problem, repairs will be carried out quicker.

 On a brighter note, I am pleased to say that we have purchased 3 new treadmills, which will be arriving week commencing 26th February. Also, the only other outstanding fault with one of the bikes has been reported to a technician and we are now just waiting on a visit, which I hope will be next week. Furthermore, a complete redecoration of the suite has been scheduled for spring, along with improvements to the AV system, including adding an extra TV above the treadmills and more reliable connectivity to multimedia services on the CV equipment.

 Apologies once again, and thank you for your patience. I can assure better times are ahead.
