We are pleased to announce the installation of 5 new top of the range Cybex treadmills at a cost of £15,000. The new treadmills are the latest models from Cybex and come with much more powerful motors, improved running board and inbuilt fans.      See full story...

Winchester SLAZENGER Open 2010....

Our annual open tennis tournament, sponsored by SLAZENGER, takes place on the week of 11-18th July. Due to the construction work for the indoor courts and the resulting reduction in courts, the tournament is reduced in size this year.      See full story...

Tennis Bookings Change....

Following further feedback from members the tennis committee have agreed to allow booking of 90 minutes at all times - the mornings will remain as fixed block timings eg 9:30-11 or 9-10:30am while at all other times there will be flexibility in start and end timings of any bookings      See full story...

NEW.... Sunday Tennis Mix In

There will be a new Sunday tennis Mix in starting from Sunday 23rd May at 4PM. The session is open to all members of any ability and will be coordinated intitailly by Ternnis Chairman Peter Friedmann. Tennis Court Bookings...timing change

Following feedback from members and observations of court usage, it is obvious that 9:30am is the most preferred time for members to play on weekday mornings. The 8:30am slot is not popular and is only really being booked when there is no other option.      See full story...

Members Funding initiative.....

Some ideas on raising funding for the indoor court project were recently circulated to members. Following further review, the management committee have decided to promote the "member's special loan" arrangement that has been used in the past by the Club.      See full story...

Title success and promotion in 2009

We had a fantastic season in 2009 and having won the first division for the first time have returned to the Premier division. It was very close with 3 teams vying for the top 2 places, and only decided by winning our final match of the season, having lost just one match to a very strong Littleton team and a very closely fought draw at Thornden.      See full story...
